When you're elected town mayor and accept the role, you must – by law – manage the Town’s money and property for their benefit, not yours. Since October 2023, Mayor Meehan has given the authority to spend thousands of unbudgeted items, such as attorney fees and mediation costs. The mediation costs are result of Mayor Meehan causing strife between herself and the Town of Norwood Staff. These are continuous unbudgeted costs just to keep our current staff from resigning again.

***Mediation $11,700. Invoice 1342 on 8/5/2024 which was to help bring staff back so

***Unbudgeted raises and bonuses for staff to keep them from quitting, instead of solving
the underlying issues.
***Mayor Meehan has recently used the town attorney to investigate her personal matters.
